The Engineering Team is pleased to announce the rolling onboarding process for Tranche 1 is now complete, and the HMS subscription access has been granted to all users within this tranche, enabling eligible wallets to assign a HyperPG address for Manager Mode within off-chain management. This follows the successful testing of the front-end subscription interface and backend support for Node Factory tilling.
Additionally, the Engineering Team has completed an upgrade to the tilling service software for the Node Factories. The new release is designed to improve uptime, streamline tilling deployment, and simplify operations for the Node Factory owners.
-
Node Factories currently marked as alive will automatically update to the newly upgraded software upon subscribing to HMS, with minimal service interruption.
-
Node Factories currently marked as dead will have their tilling status activated upon subscription, enabling them to commence their HMS subscription with the newly deployed tilling software.
The HMS testing remains in progress, with ongoing refinements and enhancements being implemented.
Please utilise the step-by-step guide below to subscribe to HMS.
HMS Subscription Guide
Visit the HMS dApp.
Note: You will require some ETH for gas fees; it is advised to check the current gwei rate prior to commencing on the Ethereum Gas Tracker.
Step 1:
Connecting to the dApp.
A) Connect your EVM-compatible wallet (e.g., MetaMask) to the HMS dApp. The MetaMask browser extension works well with Brave or Chrome.
B) Select the “Browser wallet” from the menu and wait for the pop-up message from MetaMask (or whichever wallet you’re using). DO NOT select “MetaMask” or “Other Wallets” directly from the menu! Sign in to approve the connection.

Step 2:
Select your Node Factory and Subscribe.
A) Click the “Node Factories Not Subscribed to HMS” tab, the dApp will now display all the Node Factories not currently subscribed to HMS.
B) Click “Subscribe” next to the Node Factory you wish to subscribe.

Step 3:
Starting the process of subscribing to HMS and completing the 4 steps.
A) Click “Start Process”.
B) Click “Approve Wealth token usage” and sign in your wallet.
Important: If you did not withdraw the S tokens after subscribing to HTS, you’ll be directed to Step 3. Otherwise, you’ll be directed to Step 2.
C) Click “Create voting power” and sign in your wallet.
D) Click “Create vote” and sign in your wallet.
E) Click “Vote” and sign in your wallet.

Final Step:
Viewing your subscribed Node Factory.
To view your newly subscribed Node Factory, click the “Node Factories subscribed to HMS” tab.
You may need to refresh page for the Node Factory to display. It may also take a couple of minutes for your Node Factory to display.

Congratulations!
You have successfully subscribed to HMS.
Please follow the above steps for each additional Node Factory you wish to subscribe.
What comes next in HMS Tranche 1?
Your Node Factory, now subscribed to HMS, will begin tilling using the updated tilling software. You can monitor its status via the HyperCycle Explorer. For guidance on how to use the Explorer, please refer to this video tutorial.
Please note that tilling may take up to 60 minutes to initiate. If your Node Factory has not commenced tilling within 24 hours, kindly raise a support ticket.
Any remaining USDC credit from your HTS subscription will, in due course, be credited to your HMS account at a 1.5× multiplier. Additionally, any downtime in HTS that has adversely affected your Node Factory score will be compensated as USDC credit at a 5× multiplier.
Revenue generation will commence once all participants in Tranche 1 have had the opportunity to subscribe.
